While observing the Chippewa Tennis Club, I found a wide variety of skill levels playing. The little kids looked like they were having the time of their life as they ran around taking huge swings at the ball, missing most of the time. Older players would have good long points but would get frustrated if they missed a shot. Every once and a while I would hear the eruption of players celebrating a long hard point or screaming in frustration.

CB,
This is a good general overview, and I can tell you're interested in what you've observed so far. You mentioned you're interested in kids vs. adults, so as you continue to blog, can you say more about the details of those folks? Who goes there? Do the kids all come with a parent? Mom or dad? What do they all wear? What are the social codes? (This may be harder for you to notice, since you'll have to step outside and try to view it more objectively than you've probably done before.) Also, consider more external factors: What is the layout of the place? Indoor or outdoor? Locker rooms? Other facilities? Is it strictly for tennis or something else? Let's work to fill in details like this as we go along.
